I'm a big boy now...Discovery Kids - Gateway

Abraham is becoming old enough to enjoy activities. The first time we went to this place we thought it was way too expensive for what we got considering he was just a little bit over 1yr old and the only place he could really play was this little playground dedicated to babies. We just went back a couple of weeks ago and he had a blast, we were there for at least a couple of hours and we enjoy watching him every minute. I had to play mama bear while trying to get some bully kids off his back... back off you bullies! Where are their parents anyways?! I guess I should let him deal with it but it is so hard!!lol Anyway... it was fun!

Girlfriends, continued..

Introducing my friend Edna! I've known her for about 5 yrs; we were introduced through a mutual friend, were roommates for a while and became really good friends ever since... We've been part of each other's lives; going through single life, marriages, graduations, holidays and now a farewell... Her husband just got a job in Arizona and they had to move. So, this is in her honor, pictures of good times and memories that will last forever. Love you Edna and we'll miss you!! Thank goodness for cell phones, Orkut, Blog and now Facebook!! 

Girlfriends...

The beginning of this month I received an unexpected visit from my good friends from Brazil. One of them; Nanda, called me the day before and said she was going to see me this weekend and that her sister; Patricia, was coming too and staying with me! Which I loved, but felt a little rushed as I had to get the guest room ready and my house clean! I absolutely love these two girls, they are sisters and I've known them since we were all little back in Brazil. They have definitely been a good example and influence in my life. I had a great time!

They don't get to see snow very often!
