Saudades is the only word (substantive) in Portuguese with no translation in any other language it means the feeling that you get when you long for and miss someone or something. Well, that's the only word I could think to express what I'm feeling already. For those who don't know, Dan surprised me with a trip to Italy for Christmas and we are leaving on Monday. I'm excited because it is a place that I've always wanted to go but at the same time my heart is really tight as I leave Abraham for two weeks. Will I make it? Am I going to enjoy it? That's the only thing I can think right now.... at the same time my sweet husband has put so much effort in making this trip wonderful that I feel bad for almost no wanting to go right now... Hopefully by Monday I'll have my spirts up and change my frame of mind and attitude!
By the way, Abraham started to crawl today!! My mom is in for an adventure!!

Oh how fun! What a wonderful hubby! That would be hard to leave my babies for 2 whole weeks, but I hope you have a wonderful time. That's great to have someone around that you can trust to watch your sweet little guy. I hope you have fun!!
Oh, and how old is Abraham exactly? Brennon just started crawling yesterday. How fun!!

Liz and Dan have sooo much fun. Don't worry about Abraham. He won't remember that you've been gone. He'll greet you with a giant smile when you get back as if you were only gone for a minute.
