A little behind on the posts... Easter

Considering the situation at my house this year, you know... the baby and all, we didn't make a big deal of Easter, so no egg hunts or tons of candy. However, Abraham had a cute outfit to go to church and we gave him an Easter egg from Brazil. I think he enjoyed himself!

Crazy about Pictures

I already had Jessie come and take pictures of Gigi. These were taken when she was 5 days old! So cute, I can't stand it!! Thanks Jessie... I loved them!

Miracles...

A lot of things have happened since last post, the most important, which most of you know is the arrival of our little princess Gabriella Grace Donaldson or "Gigi" as I already call her. This time around, things have been so different from the first delivery and recovery. Now I realize how difficult things were with Abraham, I had a really hard time with the 21hr delivery process and eternal recovery and adjustment to the new deprived-sleep lifestyle. This time around delivery was awesome, I got induced on Tuesday, April 7th (one week earlier from my due date), checking in at the hospital at 7am and having the baby in my arms at 12:11pm. I wasn't even hooked up to anything till around 8:30am and then it went so fast. I pushed through 3 contractions and she was here!! 8.5lbs, 19" long. I know... she was solid!! Can you imagine if she came a week later?! Bet on a girl at least 9lbs for sure!

 I first heard heard her cry I was surprised on how different it was from my boy. It was for sure a girl, this high pitch cry was unmistakable!

 She is very sweet and hardly cry anymore, she also eats a lot less, which I'm so thankful as nursing is not pleasant at first. At night, she's now sleeping 5 hrs straight if I let her. Anyway, I'm in love with this little girl, so sweet and well behaved. Will see how long it last!!! In fact, if I could have one wish granted I would wish she could skip teenage years and stay sweet like she is now!!LOL! J/K

As for Abraham, he is still my boy; my sweet, funny, gentle, loving boy. He loves his little sister, loves hugging and poking her, he has no coordination enough to realize his strength so we have to keep a close eye on him. My mom has been here this week and so he's been getting a lot of attention, I'm anxious to see how it goes next week when she is gone!

Dresses

The Donaldson's threw me a shower the other day and I think I'm set with the dresses!! So exciting!!!
