Sushi Class

This year for Valentines, I gave Dan a sushi class at Gygi's. I've taken this same class last year and had a blast. We had an awesome time plus we ate and ate and then we ate some more sushi! So, you'll be the judge, based on the pictures below did we learn anything?!?

My roll, not too different from Dan's, not too mention the size, if we are suppose to eat sushi in one bite, we would offend a lot of Japanese with this one!

Getting better:

Chef Jonas, he was so much fun! He made the BEST appetizer I have EVER had with those tempura shiso leaves, spicy tuna, eel sauce and chives. Simply The BEST!

Thanksgiving 2009

This Thanksgiving we went to Newport, CA and it was a different and wonderful holiday. On Thanksgiving day the whole family, including dogs and babies went to Dana Point and jog/walk the turkey trot 5K, later we got to enjoy a nice outside dinner at my sister-in-law's Debbie. The weather was very nice. We spend the week taking walks on the beach, going to the pool and hot tub, got to go three times to Disney, Abraham watched his first musical play - How the Grinch stole Christmas- he watched the whole thing and was super entertained. Gigi on the other hand, could care less! To keep her entertained and calm; Dan, who had to sit separately from us, gave her a lollypop. So there, she had her fist lollypop at age 7 months (I could strangle Dan for that one)! Dan's brother Matt and his family stayed with us and the kids had a blast, especially Maggie, who treated Abraham and Gigi like they were her very own live dolls! lol!

It seems like I can't keep it steady. I'm always behind on posts, but then, that's how I am with my journal too, why would it be different right? It's a shame! So once again, here are some UPDATES!!!Let's start with Abraham B-day party. It started early in the morning with some left over cupcake doug. We had a small party, just some of the neighborhood friends and some family. They had a great time...the tent, balls, cupcakes (specially for my nephew Nick) and jeep were all a hit! Oh... and I have no idea what Dan and Steve were doing, but the kids were loving it!

Friends came to visit from Brazil brought their kids this time! They had a blast at the dinosaur museum but at this point, everyone about had it!

We got to go to the Utah State Fair, Abraham loved it but I'm not sure if it's really my thing... baaaaa!!

In September we got to go to California twice and one of the times our friends that were visiting stayed with us. Here's Luigi acting like Tarzan and Abraham loving every minute!
